About
Meet Rhonda
My name is Rhonda Coleman and I am an Occupational Therapist. I sort of fell into Occupational Therapy.
I had a family member in the military who had surgery. At the time, the military here did not provide home health therapy.
They taught me to do the needed therapy. So, I became an Occupational Therapy Assistant in 1998.
I went back to get my Master's Degree, finishing in 2016, to become an Occupational Therapist. Over the years, I have worked in hand therapy, acute care, home health, early intervention, and spent the last 16 years split between school-based therapy and pediatric outpatient therapy.
I love being a pediatric therapist because I can meet the kids where they are at and then see how they grow.
Outside of therapy
I enjoy quilting, writing, and spending time with my family. A really good day is dancing with my daughter, who has Down Syndrome, and playing hide-and-seek with my grandson.
