About
Meet Alejandra
My career as a speech therapist began in 2021 after graduating from Marquette University with a specialization in the assessment and treatment of bilingual (Spanish-English) speakers. I was inspired by my passion for language and the ability to empower others to communicate.
In the diverse field of speech-language pathology, most of my experience has been in the school setting working with children ages 3-13, but I am always looking to learn and grow as a clinician. My goal is to support functional communication by taking into consideration the strengths and needs of every individual client.
I work to integrate clinical expertise and research-based methods in order to provide therapy sessions that are engaging and effective.
Outside of therapy
My favorite thing to do is go out to the movies! I also enjoy exploring new places, staying active through running and weight lifting, and spending time with my family.
