About
Meet Nina
I received my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Midwestern University and have spent the last 6 years supporting children in schools, clinics, and early intervention programs. I became an OT because I believe deeply in the power of "meaningful occupations"—the everyday activities that give a child’s life purpose and joy.
I founded The Mustard Seed Collective on the belief that even the smallest beginnings can lead to extraordinary growth. Just as a tiny mustard seed grows into a great tree with the right nurture and care, I believe every child has a potential that can reach far beyond what we might even imagine.
When a child is struggling, it can be difficult to imagine what the next chapter looks like. I see the child first, not a label.
I’m here to partner with your family, bringing specialized support into your home to help nurture those small beginnings into big milestones and provide the thoughtful care your child needs to flourish. Together, we can focus on the small, daily wins that eventually grow into a lifetime of independence and confidence.
Outside of therapy
Outside of work, you can usually find me staying active! I enjoy playing volleyball, working out, or running along the lakefront with friends. I’m always on the hunt for a good espresso or matcha, and I love exploring the city with my husband and our dog. I am grateful to be a part of my church community and love serving as a mentor at a local nonprofit.
