About
Meet Hannah
My name is Hannah Schroyer, and I am a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist with years of experience supporting children on their unique journey of acquiring language and communication skills.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from James Madison University and my Master’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After 4 years of providing speech therapy in public schools, I am transitioning to providing in-home therapy services.
My therapy approach is research-driven and child-led. I aim to create a supportive environment where kids feel safe and empowered to communicate and find their authentic voice. My therapy is also family-focused with a heavy emphasis on parent coaching. As their parent, you know your child best. I want to empower you with the tools and strategies you need to help your child flourish, in and out of speech therapy sessions.
Outside of therapy
When I'm not working, you can find me outside walking, hiking, and exploring nature. I am an avid reader and love creative hobbies like knitting, crocheting, sewing, etc.
