About
Meet Shana
I have been practicing as a speech-language pathologist for two years in the pediatric outpatient hospital setting. I was initially drawn to the field seeing it as an opportunity to use my love of creativity and personal experience with neurodiverse individuals to help others. I stay in this field because of the children and families I meet. Nothing brings me more joy than getting to celebrate the wins with you!
My clinical approach is individualized– tailored to your child’s unique strengths and needs; functional– focused on supporting your child in their everyday environment; and always neurodiversity-affirming– honoring and celebrating your child’s differences. Above all, I prioritize building strong, trusting relationships, as I believe connection is the foundation for growth.
Outside of therapy
In my free time, I enjoy reading, knitting, and dancing. I also love exploring new restaurants and trying out new recipes with my partner. Whenever I get the chance, I enjoy being outside– whether that’s biking, playing pickleball, or simply soaking in a beautiful day!
